About Homeownership Preservation Foundation
In 2007, Homeownership Preservation Foundation’s (HPF’s) HOPE Hotline – 888-995-HOPE (4673) was selected to administer the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Making Home Affordable program. Since then, HPF’s network counselors have successfully coached more than two million homeowners to manage their mortgage challenges and sustain homeownership.
Since last summer’s launch of HPF’s HOME Hotline – 844-995-HOME (4663) – thousands of potential homebuyers – including millennials, boomerang borrowers and elders – have received HUD-approved counseling support or visited www.995HOME.org for information. HPF’s counselors act as coaches to encourage and motivate consumers to plan homeownership using state-of-the-art technology, including BluePrint by HPF, a digital money management app designed and powered by one of the fastest-growing fintech providers, MX.
Each business day, more than 1,500 people now approach HPF’s Homeowner’s Hotlines so that they may continue to enjoy the benefits of home.
Based in Minneapolis with offices in Washington, D.C., HPF is an independent, national nonprofit dedicated to guiding consumers on a path to sustainable homeownership by improving their financial health. Learn more at HPF.
